Stupid Stuff Paper Bag Game
A Susan Sherbert Favorite The Paper Bag Game
The paper bag game is a must! I would have to say, this is one of my absolute favorite party games. It's one of those games that sounds easy but is not, plus it's great because it can be played just about anywhere; at your house, in a hotel room, at a picnic or even on that patch of brown grass called your lawn. All you need is a grocery sized paper bag and you're ready to play.
Sounds Easy The object of this game is simple. Stand on one foot, bend down, and pick up a paper bag with your teeth. You can't use your hands but you can bend in any position as long as one foot or knee does not touch the ground.
After everyone has done this once, and while they are still thinking how easy this game is, tear off about a 1" strip from the top of the paper bag. The bag is now 1" shorter and a bit closer to the ground. As the rounds continue people try to figure out new and different ways to get lower to the ground while still standing on one foot.
How Low Can You Go? Keep tearing off inch after inch, until most people voluntarily quit or have been forced by their peers to “Give it up!” Of course being short helps a bit in this game (maybe that is why I like it so much) because you're not quite so far from the ground. But honestly, you should really try this game at your next party, get together, or even in the hotel room on your next vacation. Vacations? What's a vacation?
